You, Your Family Deserve Quality Oral Care

  • August 26, 2016

How long has it been? Do you remember the last time you visited the dentist for a professional cleaning and examination? When is the last time your children visited the dentist?

We know life can get busy and hectic, and sometimes you wonder if you will ever get a break from the day-to-day stresses of life. One thing that won’t help that situation is finding out that you or one of your children has a cavity or a more serious oral health issue.

No matter how long it’s been since you and your family sat in a dental chair, our team at The Dentist House will be happy to see you. We serve families in Ridgecrest, CA, and several neighboring communities.

Let us serve your family, too.

What We Can Offer

The first thing you can count on is that we will listen.

We will listen to your concerns, and we will treat you and your children as individuals. As important as your dental health is, we also consider your comfort to be a priority as well.

We treat our patients as honored guests who have come to visit us.

We have iPads and iPods so you can listen to music or distract yourself in some other way if that will help you get through your treatment. We also have TV glasses if you would rather watch one of your favorite shows.

To help you feel a little cozier, we can provide pillows and blankets.

And if that isn’t enough, we also offer sedation dentistry for all our patients. If you feel anxious about dental visits, you have the choice between nitrous oxide and oral sedation to help you relax and remain calm.

State-Of-The-Art Technology

As part of our effort to provide comfortable, high-quality dental care, we have incorporated some of the latest technology into our practice.

We aren’t just getting new toys to play with. We have added equipment that has demonstrable benefits for our patients.

One example of this is our dental laser. This tool allows us to perform gum disease treatments or cosmetic gum reshaping without cutting into your soft tissue. Instead, we can “zap” the tissue to be removed and seal the remaining healthy tissue.

Since there is no cutting involved and stitches are not required, this reduces your recovery time after these kinds of treatments.

We have added a digital scanner so can make digital impressions. If you’ve ever had do hold a tray filled with goopy stuff in your mouth, then you know this can be unpleasant. If you have a sensitive gag reflex, this can make this an even worse experience.

With digital impressions, we can get the results faster, and no goopy stuff is required.

Our intraoral cameras give us a magnified view of your teeth and the soft tissues of your mouth. This allows us to see your mouth from angles that are not possible with our eyes alone.

The cameras can help us identify problems earlier than ever, so we can address them before they require more intensive and more invasive treatments.

Dr. Josef

Our dentist is Dr. Josef Mamaliger — Dr. Josef, to most of our patients.

He was born in Russia, but his family moved to Israel while he was a child. In Israel, he served in the Israeli Army for five years, and he also attended medical and dental school.

He decided on dentistry because it allowed him to provide both therapeutic and surgical care, and it gave him the opportunity to help many people through his work.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Josef has provided general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry for his patients, including adults and kids.

In spite of his extensive training and experience, he’s always looking to improve. He goes above and beyond the continuing education requirements so he can stay current on the latest technology and the most innovative techniques.

Ultimately, this means better and more advanced dental care for all our patients.
