RIDGECREST, CA – Dr. Josef Mamaliger, a provider of dental implants, is giving back to the community yet again by supporting local youth and adult athletics.
Dr. Mamaliger, who operates the family dental practice The Dentist House, this year supported the Indian Wells Valley Youth Baseball League and the City of Ridgecrest coed and mens’ softball league.
“It was a pleasure being able to participate in the opening day ceremony,” Dr. Mamaliger said. “We love giving back to the community. Many people who do not have dental providers have been welcomed to our office to take care of their necessary treatment.”
The donations helped pay for team uniforms, and a member of the office threw out the first pitch during the Indian Wells Valley Youth Baseball League opening day ceremony. As one of the youth league’s largest donors, The Dentist House hung its banner on one of the ballfields.
The Dentist House has a long history of assisting organizations in the community. The Dentist House regularly hosts patient-appreciation events and recently has organized a monthly charitable donation program.
“Patients have loved seeing that we are involved in the community and are about giving back to a place we call home,” Dr. Mamaliger said. “Many of our patients participate in baseball and softball and have shown such gratitude for the donations we have made thus far.”
Dr. Mamaliger offers crowns, bridges, teeth-whitening treatments, prepless veneers and durable dental implants. Dental implants are used to replace individual missing teeth or entire arches of teeth. Dental implants give patients about 90 percent of the chewing force they had with their natural teeth. Dr. Mamaliger uses dental implants to replace individual missing teeth or stabilize dentures. Dental implants have become popular options for patients with removable dentures because the implants stabilize oral devices and prevent any future jawbone deterioration.
In addition to life-changing implant dentistry, Dr. Mamaliger provides prepless veneers that can transform a patient’s smile instantly. No-prep veneers are unique because they do not require any drilling or removal of tooth enamel. To place the veneers, Dr. Mamaliger simply bonds the composite veneer over the tooth without any discomfort to the patient.
Dr. Mamaliger was born in Russia and immigrated to Israel as a child. He earned his dental degree in Israel and then served in the Israeli Air Force for five years. Dr. Mamaliger trained with some of the best specialists in Israel before moving to the United States, where he completed his boards in 1990.
The Dentist House uses the latest technology, including a cone beam CT scanner that helps the staff diagnose dental problems and set up treatments. Dr. Mamaliger offers a five-year warranty on all of his work.
