Dental Sealants for Children

The Dentist House offers dental sealants to children we see in our office. Dental sealants help provide an extra layer of protection to your child’s permanent teeth. Dental sealants are small, plastic coatings that are placed along the molars of the teeth to provide protection from decay.

The sealants are comfortable, natural colored, and do not create any problems when your child tries to talk or eat. Once the sealant is placed on your child’s teeth, it is generally good for a period of three to five years. Although sealants are generally used for children, sealants can be placed on adult teeth as well.
